COVID-19 situation 

In April 2020 Japan Post temporarily suspended Registered Airmail to many countries. Since then, we’ve been continuously monitoring the situation and working to secure alternative shipping options. The options and rates below are the result of our best efforts.

European Union (EU) and UK

Due to new rules regarding the collection of VAT from 2021, we no longer accept orders from EU* and UK based customers directly from this shop. Please order from our Etsy shop instead.

By ordering at our Etsy shop, Etsy will be responsible for collecting your VAT at checkout so, hopefully, you will avoid customs delays and additional handling fees at delivery. 

*EU countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden.

Combined Shipping

Hold & Combine is a temporary optional service we are currently offering to countries where Japan Post is not available. Read the details and conditions here.

 

Order Processing

  • We ship from Saitama, Japan.
  • We typically process and ship orders within a week. During peak times such as new product releases, pre-orders, and sale periods please allow additional time for dispatch (usually up to 2 weeks).
  • Successfully placed orders will receive an e-mail confirmation with the order details. Please review and ensure that you have entered the correct address.
  • You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. This notification includes the tracking information for your package.

 

Order Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available. 

 

Customs taxes and duties

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Such charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost, as we are only charging the transportation fee for your order.

Sticky Kit is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.

If you neglect to pick up your package and it is returned to us, please note that the charge for original shipping will not be refunded. It will be your responsibility to cover the shipping costs if you wish to have a second delivery attempt.

     

    Shipping Terms

    By placing an order, you accept and acknowledge that once an order has been dispatched, your package is beyond our control. Shipping is a service you purchase from the shipping carrier, along with your order from us, so any shipping issues must be handled by the carrier.

    • Any listed time for a shipping method is an estimate only. For orders with deadlines please order well in advance.
    • Packages may be delayed during busy times of the year, and due to customs retentions.
    • Sticky Kit cannot be held responsible/liable for lost, misplaced, stolen, damaged, or delayed shipments after they have been dispatched.
    • The customer accepts full responsibility to file any claim(s) with the carrier for damaged and/or lost shipments.
    • If a package can't be delivered due to an incorrect or outdated address, failed delivery attempts, refusal to pay tax, refused by the recipient, etc., Sticky Kit is not responsible for any additional fees that may incur in order to reroute or reship the package. 
    • Packages returned to us may be subject to handling fees and restocking fees. Shipping fees are not refundable.

     

      Refund policy

      Once an order has entered the shipping process, it cannot be canceled or refunded.
