I'm April from @penguinscreative. I grew up hopping countries between Taipei and Bangkok. My latest leg in the journey of life is in Seattle, WA United States, where I work as a full-time marketer AND stationery addict. My passion for art and stationery started out with doodles in my textbooks and random penguins everywhere. After graduating high school, my creative drive went into hiatus as I get caught up in work and life. However, in the past two years, I had amazing opportunities to meet up with many stationery enthusiasts and artists from many places. I picked up a Hobonichi planner in late 2014, and my journaling stories begin again.
Today, you'll find me geeking out over my various journals in a cafe, doodling and collaging with cute stickers and washi tapes. I love this community so much, and I can't wait to create and share more with you all.
Hello! My name is Tara and I am from the United States. When I was a little girl, one of my favorite things to do was to collect Lisa Frank and Sanrio stickers in my sticker albums. I also kept a small diary with a lock and key and wrote about all sorts of things that would occupy the mind of a little girl. Unfortunately, I had stopped sticker collecting and keeping a diary after grade school. I rediscovered this pastime last year after I stumbled across a beautiful community of planners and diary keepers on Instagram. Shortly after that, I got myself a Travelers Notebook and then a Hobonichi and all sorts of washi tape and stickers. I am currently in love with my Hobonichi and wish I had known about this sooner! I love arranging washi tape and stickers around bits and pieces of paper. It truly is therapeutic for me and makes me really happy; I could get lost in it for hours. My favorite journaling supplies are washi tape and stickers; but I also love using cute, kawaii memo pads too. I like drawing and playing with watercolors and would like to practice and improve those skills.I live with my husband and our chubby, little budgie and two little dogs in a quiet neighborhood. I am so thankful that I found a wonderful, planner community on IG where we can all share our creations; where we can encourage and inspire one another.
Hi! I'm Jenna Templeton a creative content creator living in N.S.W Australia, who loves telling stories through writing, design, styling, photography, craft and illustration. My love for stickers and stationery began from childhood when I would spend hours decorating my diaries with stickers and my favorite art supplies. Even to this day I still enjoy journaling in my spare time using stickers and washi tape on my journal pages. I'm currently using Hobonichi, Bullet Journal and Travelers Notebook. I also enjoy using my favourite stickers and washi tape for decorating snail mail for my pen pals and sharing my stationery supplies with them too. You can find more of my creative work and journals via my blog; Life.Like.Documented or on YouTube and Instagram.
Hello! My name is Esther Molina. I am from Barcelona, Spain, but I live in Yokohama, Japan, from 14 years ago.
I love Japanese culture, art and stationery. I love hiking and journaling, so I always have with me a small set of stationery supplies to write or draw anywhere I am.
To sum me up in one quick sentence; I'm Chilean by blood, an Englander by marriage, I'm a stationary hoarder, a journal lover, I'm a bike explorer and some say I'm a little cat crazy.
I'm Paula aka @meowpawjournals, from Chile and living in the UK. I got my first planner when I was 13, a planner back then was a place for me to write my thoughts and about my days, but now they are so much more, sooo much more! I like to think my addiction to stationary stemmed from my dad, in my younger years he was always bringing home things for me to be creative with (thanks dad!).
I have to confess I have a thing for things with sticky backs, and I especially love washitapes! Ohhh.. washi tapes! I can't get enough of them!
What else? I live with my husband, who constantly complains about my ever growing stationary collection, and that's only because it leaves less room for his Lego hoarding.. errr.. collection! We have a cat "Paddy" who just hangs (sleeps) around the house all day.
